A warrior comes to see many things
May she see herself, what is truly her
Shall she look within and find bravery
For when she truly looks at herself, she is a brave woman
Shall she show compassion, love and tenderness?
Shall she accept the guilt of deeds past done, then lay it down?
To accept it as a lesson and then move on?
Brave deeds these, may she find their power within
Many a war was fought, many a battle won
Now she looks inside, to find what must be done
She sees the guilt of pride, want, have and loss
Remembering a loss, money or power could not buy
It is time, she reaches inside and finds a gentle warrior
She looked at herself and found a brave woman
She sees what she is, what she has been, and what she can be
She sees the guilt on her shoulders, holding her down
A needless load, she puts it aside, laying it down
She smiles, drops her armor, hands out, palms up and open
To walk softly with and for others, evermore
